ONLINE TASTING WORKSHOP

Alpine cheese masterclass with Anna Juhl and Patrick McGuigan

Join us for a free virtual masterclass on the mighty mountain cheeses of the Savoie region of France and the Swiss Alps on Thursday 25th April.

Anna Juhl, Cheese Journeys Founder and CEO, will be joined by co-host Patrick McGuigan, Food Writer and Educator - and together with guests, will explore and taste their way through iconic cheeses that originate in these beautiful regions. Think cheese history and heritage, flavour, texture and how best to serve them.

We’ll be joined by esteemed affineurs from the Savoie and the Swiss Alps, who will talk us through their delicious cheeses (curd to counter) as we taste them! Plus, we’re thrilled to announce a guest appearance from Teresa Kaufman, our wonderful Cheese Scout and Professional Photographer who will appear for a quick-fire interview with Anna. Teresa is a master when it comes to scouting off the grid cheesemakers and unique culinary experiences.

All cheeses that feature in this tasting event are listed below and are widely available to purchase in advance. If you do want to taste along with us (which we highly recommend!), we have suggested shops in both the US and UK where you can buy online. Or simply pick them up from your local cheese shop!
