Are you ready to pair sumptuous soft cheeses over glasses of Champagne, build gorgeous boards with Madame Fromage, and learn to make your own cheese, plus stroll Paris markets and take a cooking class?
Our newest tour combines two Cheese Journey signatures: a stunning chateau stay with meals cooked by our private chefs, plus city time to shop and explore food culture. We designed this trip to be the ultimate “cheese & wine spring break.”
First, we'll whisk you off to Chateau de Courances, a private 17th estate with impossibly beautiful gardens and fountains – just 50 kilometers outside of Paris. You’ll stay on the property in one of the newly renovated gîtes (cottages) and enjoy four nights in the French countryside, meeting the family’s sheep and picking herbs from the organic garden.
Once you’re rested and refreshed, you’ll return to Paris for three days of shopping and hands-on experiences. You’ll stay in the picturesque Marais neighborhood close to cheese shops, markets, boutiques, and wine bars. Our last day even includes a pastry class at La Cuisine Paris, a fabulous cooking school overlooking the Seine.
